Innovative Chemical Products (ICP) is a leading specialty coatings, adhesives, sealants and chemicals manufacturer in North America. With operations headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts and Tampa, Florida, manufacturing facilities across the United States, ICP serves multiple end markets, including building materials, specialty construction, and sports surfaces. ICP is privately held and manufactures products under several recognized brands.
As part of its continued growth and strategic evolution, ICP Group now operates under three dedicated business units, each focused on delivering solutions across the building envelope coatings and adhesives markets: Specialty Coatings, Insulation and Adhesives, and Roofing and Driveway Sealers.
This structure allows ICP to better serve its customers through specialized expertise, enhanced innovation and more agile operations across each business area.
Notes: In February 2024, ICP reformulated its IdeaPaint™ dry-erase wall coating for improved durability, increased shelf and pot life, and easier single-coat application.
In June 2024, California Sports Surfaces (CSS), a division of ICP, announced a partnership with the Pickleball Australia Association. CSS’s CoolTop® was named the preferred surface for new courts throughout Australia.
In August 2024, CSS was recognized in the ACA’s 2024 Sustainability Report for its CoolTop® coatings, which offer solar reflectance 20–30% higher than standard surfaces and help reduce heat sink effects.
In October 2024, CSS and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) renewed their nearly two-decade partnership through 2027, continuing CSS’s role as the official court surface provider for ITA events. Also, CSS supported the installation of a Rebound Ace® Synpave System playground in Senegal, highlighting ICP’s commitment to global community engagement and climate resilience.
Also this year, ICP Group celebrates the 50th anniversary of HandiFoam®, a leading brand of low-pressure polyurethane foam sealants and adhesives. Now part of ICP’s Building Envelope Business Unit, HandiFoam® continues its legacy of Innovations That Improve™, serving professionals with trusted solutions for five decades.
